Hiking to Sky Pond in Rocky Mountain National Park

Hiking to Sky Pond was going to be the farthest and highest I’ve ever hiked. And honestly, I was nervous that I wasn’t going to make it. I hadn’t prepared well & I’ve been known to get really bad headaches in altitude. But it honestly wasn’t that bad! Day Trip to Joshua Tree: Make the Most of One Day in the Park

While visiting San Diego in February 2017, my friend and I decided to make the 3-hour drive and take a day trip to Joshua Tree National Park. Joshua Tree is known for it’s unique Joshua trees, endless rock climbing opportunities, and stargazing. As far as rock climbing goes, Joshua Tree has climbs for just about any skill level. However, there are some good places to eat and an outlet mall along the way that nicely broke up the 2-3 hour drive. Exciting cave hikes + good food + outlet shopping = one GREAT day. Want to learn how to spend the day cave hiking in Pinnacles? Keep reading! Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. If you purchase…
